Tonia Friess, ECBA
Tonia Friess is passionate about Business Analysis and how the right techniques can influence the success of any project. She is driven to assist her clients in achieving their goals and supporting their business. Her unique flair of Business Analysis and Virtual Assistance can help your business grow to the next level.
She is the Business Analyst and Virtual Assistant for Lightning Bolt Consulting Inc. Her career began after graduating from the Administrative Information Management Program at SAIT.
She has over a decade of experience within the Energy Industry supporting leaders and their teams. In past roles, she supported multiple Executives, Directors, and Senior Managers.
She has also spent time working in Higher Education as a Project Coordinator for Information Technology. She supported 26 publicly funded Higher Education Institutions with their software procurement needs and agreements. As well as, working with an IT PMO on multiple projects including:
Change management
Training
Gathering business requirements
Technical writing including training material and project management documentation
Managing project plans
She has completed her Business Analysis Extension Certification from Mount Royal University and also has her ECBA designation.
Brandon Friess, P. Eng.
Brandon Friess is a Professional Petroleum Engineer with a strong passion for innovation, learning, and performing the job safely.
Mr. Friess has spent the last seven years working for 7 Generations Energy Ltd. While at 7G he led a team of Engineers in the Drilling Department. His experience includes under-balanced and -managed pressure drilling, multilateral drilling, fiber optic cable installation, monobores, developing a system to measure and analyze key performance indicators, vibration mitigation in high performance mud motors, team leadership, and department budgeting. Through innovation and creativity the drilling team reduced the average cost to drill a Montney development well by 57%.
Prior to joining 7 Generations Energy Ltd., Mr. Friess obtained his degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech University. He also has a Petroleum Engineering Technology Diploma from SAIT.
Before returning to school, Mr. Friess worked in the oilfield for Precision Drilling. Through that experience he learned his passion for the energy industry, his drive for completing a well safely, and the importance of teamwork.
